Terms of service
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms apply whether you're a business running a loyalty program on Shena or a customer who joined one. Using Shena means agreeing to them.
Accounts
A business account represents the restaurant, café, salon or shop running the program; a customer account represents the person collecting stamps and points. Each account holder is responsible for the accuracy of the details on their account and for keeping their credentials secure.
We don't knowingly collect data from a child below the age at which their country lets them agree to a service like this on their own. If that happens, contact us and we'll close the account.
Acceptable use
Don't try to defraud the points system, automate interactions with the service, scrape or resell access to it, or reverse-engineer any part of it. A business or customer account used this way may be suspended or closed.
Business subscriptions and fees
A business's plan, its limits, and any fee that applies are shown in the account itself and billed accordingly. The Basic plan is free forever — see our plan terms page for exactly what that covers.
Loyalty points and rewards
Each business sets and honors its own program: what earns a stamp or point, what a reward costs, and when it's available. Shena provides the platform that records and enforces this — the participating business is responsible for the rewards it offers.
Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and don't carry over between unrelated businesses' programs.
Content and ownership
Shena owns the platform — its software, design and branding. A business keeps ownership of its own name, logo and program content, and grants us only the license needed to display it as part of running their program.
Ending an account
A customer can close their account at any time from Profile → "Delete my account" in the app. A business can close its account by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the platform.
Disclaimers and liability
Shena is provided as it stands, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify account holders directly.
